Paul started his career in the insurance industry in 1974 with James M. King & Associates, Inc. Paul Received a Bachelors of Science degrees in Business Administration and Labor Relations with a minor in economics from Minnesota State University.
Past President of the Bloomington Jaycees. Served on the Board and as President of the Minneapolis Independent Insurance Agents for 14 years. Served on the Minnesota Independent Insurance Agents Board of Directors for 8 years. Named Agent of the year 1988 and Young Agent of the Year 1990
Paul has 2 Children, Sharon a 5th Grade School Teacher and Scott a NASCAR Mechanic & Jack Man. As well as 5 grandchildren.

Cort is married to Ann, who is an accountant with Varde Partners. Together they have 2 kids Chelsey (7) and Bode (5). He is very involved in youth sports coaching his kids in hockey, baseball and soccer. When he is not coaching he tries to find some time to golf, fish, and hunt. A true MN sports fan his favorite passion is actually seeing live music.
